OK, so I got a little of the betta starter and my copper spawn are now big enough for me to get them off the mw and bbs.  How do I feed this?  Kim put on the directions 1/16th of a tsp feeds 300 fry... but how does one feed 15 fry?   http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' />

Firstly, it's hard enough to measure out 1/16th of a tsp.  Secondly, 15 fry is a long way from 300 http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /> I can't find "directions to feed" anywhere, so thought I'd ask those of you who have been using it.  If they seem to like it, and they do well with it, I think I'll order some directly from the IBC for myself.

Just put the smallest pinch you can.  I use the little scoop that comes with it (unless Kim just gave you a bit to try, then you don't have it) and would use it to just scoop up the size of a pinhead or two then sprinkle that over the tank.

If you don't have the scoop, then just use a toothpick (or something similar) and just balance a bit of it on the  toothpick and then sprinkle over the water.

If they're not eating it all, then try to collect a bit less the next time.  Use this method and you'll get used to it quickly.  They may take a few days to like the switch to non-live food.  Intermix feedings of live food between feedings of Atison's Betta Starter http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

mmm - toothpick - what a great idea!  I'm going to try that on tomorrow's feeding.  They're pretty big and hungry these days, so hopefully they'll take to it.  I also have some frozen rotifers which are nice and small and I'll probably try introducing that sometime soon too.  Here's hoping http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />
