I highly suggest taking Ashley up on this offer http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />  Mine are doing great and growing fast!   Ashley, how big do you find they need to be before they can breed?

Hmmm I'm not too sure. I have found that mouthbrooders do need to mature before they spawn. When any of my young pairs did spawn the male usually swallowed the eggs. So they probably need to be close to adult size.

I'm curious to see how they are looking. About half of the ones I have in the tub are about an inch and the other half are still tiny...

I'm not at my place until Sunday or Monday.  I'll get some pictures once I'm back there.  I would have to think my biggest are over an inch http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Might grab a couple once my community tank is more stable. When I got home from BC half the plants were dead and dying. I'm still not quite sure why. Maybe fluctuations of high temperature due to summer heat + CO2 reactor running out of gas. Then the fish started dying one by one. Bloated looking and floating, probably internal infection as there are no blemishes on the outside. So the tank is under treatment right now and can't take any new inhabitants. http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Save some for meee... http://209.85.62.26/html/emoticons/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />
